The hotel's location was convenient for me, close to the VA office and accessible for early morning appointments. Despite some shortages of coffee cups and spoons the location was good. However, I would be cautious about booking there again. We experienced some shortcomings in the dining options but were able to manage with what was available. The service was unfortunately marred by an abrupt departure request and lack of essential room maintenance during the stay.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms didn't look clean, and it felt like someone had slept in there overnight, which was quite nasty. However, the location was nice, right off the highway, and convenient for visiting Congaree National Park. The dining experience left much to be desired as they were almost out of everything early in the morning. The staff had some issues, especially with a confusing checkout process and being rather unwelcoming towards guests. The price was fair, but there were definite downsides that impacted my overall experience.
